CHAFFEE -- Billy Gene Hunsaker, 61, of rural Chaffee died Saturday, May 13, 1995, at his residence. He was born June 6, 1933, in Chaffee, the son of Betty Loretta Hindman Hunsaker Halter of Chaffee and the late Hurshel Homer Hunsaker. He married Carolyn Myers Dec. 31, 1981...

CHAFFEE -- Billy Gene Hunsaker, 61, of rural Chaffee died Saturday, May 13, 1995, at his residence.

He was born June 6, 1933, in Chaffee, the son of Betty Loretta Hindman Hunsaker Halter of Chaffee and the late Hurshel Homer Hunsaker. He married Carolyn Myers Dec. 31, 1981.

He was a self-employed logger.

Survivors include his wife and mother; a son, Jamie Myers of Chaffee; a daughter, Vickie Dumey of Chaffee; two brothers, Donald Hunsaker of Sikeston and David Halter of Scott City; three sisters, Jo Ann Rister of Scott City, Maxine Scott of Chaffee and Diane Gregerson of St. Charles; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Robert Montgomery will officiate with burial in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
