Billy Chester French, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born March 27, 1933, in Dyersburg, Tenn., son of Bennie Franklin and Nola Mae Benthell French.
French had been a custodian at Candlewick Lounge.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Owen of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
