TAMMS, Ill. -- Billy Joe Eickelman, 71, of Tamms died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 22, 1927, in Sandusky, son of Claude John and Kathleen Delores Provo Eickelman. He and Paula Miller were married Dec. 22, 1946...

TAMMS, Ill. -- Billy Joe Eickelman, 71, of Tamms died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 22, 1927, in Sandusky, son of Claude John and Kathleen Delores Provo Eickelman. He and Paula Miller were married Dec. 22, 1946.

Eickelman was a member of Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, Collinsville Masonic Lodge 712 AF&AM, Shrine Club, Scottish Rite Bodies and Ainad Temple.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Cheryl Patterson of Hazelwood, Mo.; Phyllis and Julie Eickelman of Collinsville; a brother, J.C. Eickelman of Tamms; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Larry Buckles officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
