Billy Joe Drury, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at Hermitage Gardens of Oxford in Oxford, Mississippi.
He was born April 2, 1928, in Cape Girardeau to William and Daisy McKee Drury.
He was a member of Maple United Methodist Church.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and squirrel hunter.

Survivors include his sister-in-law, Frances Drury of Collierville, Tennessee; one nephew, Scott Drury of Oxford, and two nieces, Julie David of Atlanta and Lynn Schoettle of Memphis, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerald Drury.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
