Billy E. Dietiker, 87, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 12, 1931, in Cape Girardeau to Charles and Lovie Pippen Dietiker. Billy first married Bonnie Ross. She preceded him in death in 1985. He later married Betty Lou Blackwell Freeman. She preceded him in death in 2017.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for Central Foods and Hutson's Furniture.
Billy loved to raise animals and go fishing. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a very funny and ornery man who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his son, Perry Dietiker of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Bethany (Grant) Adams, Brandon (Stephanie) Dietiker and Jeff (Kassy) Dalton; and four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Abby, Kristin and Kynleigh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Bonnie; second wife, Betty; son, Thomas Scott Dietiker; daughter-in-law, Veronica Dietiker; brothers, Tom and Leroy "Chuck" Dietiker; and an infant brother.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
