Billie Minor

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Billie Yvonne Alston Minor, 80, of Fair Grove, Mo., formerly of Chaffee, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was born Feb. 27, 1933, in Lansing, Kan., daughter of William R. and Mabel Edwards Alston.

Billie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joe; two daughters, Debra (Jason) Moore of Chaffee, Janice (Ed) Thomas of Scott City; a stepdaughter, Sheryl (Bill) Lebleu of Harrison, Ark.; two sons, Darrel (Diane) Minor of Kelso, Mo., Gary (Miye) Minor of Gordonville; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a grandson, and a great-grandson.

A private service will be at a later date.
