Billie Minor

Billie Yvonne Alston Minor, 80, of Fair Grove, Mo., died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was born Feb. 27, 1933, in Lansing, Kan., daughter of William R. and Mabel Edwards Alston.

Billie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joe; three daughters, Debra Lynn Moore of Chaffee, Mo., Janice Jo Thomas of Scott City, Sheryl Lebleu of Harrison, Ark.; two sons, Darrell Lee Minor of Kelso, Mo., Gary N. Minor of Gordonville; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Nancy Buyan; a grandson, Alan Stroup; and a great-grandson, Sydney.

A private service will be held at a later date.
