Billi Jo Knight, 38, of Gordonville passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at her home.
She was born May 25, 1980, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Richard Allen and Carolyn Diann Burns Knight Sr.
Billi Jo was a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School. She worked at Jackson Walmart for 10 years, and for the last eight years she was a communication officer for the Jackson Police Department.
She was a member of Diehlstadt General Baptist Church in Diehlstadt, Missouri. Billi Jo took great pride and pleasure in helping others through her membership in "Badges Give Back."
Being a nature lover, Billi Jo enjoyed hunting (especially deer), photographing still scenes and the beauty of the outdoors. She was a member of SEMO Rocks and an accomplished rock painter. Painting rocks and hiding them in the surrounding area and local parks was one of her favorite hobbies.
Loving survivors include her father and mother of Oak Ridge, and a brother, "Richie" (fiancee Leah Goodwin) Knight Jr. of Oak Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Dwayne Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
The family suggests contributions be made to Diehlstadt General Baptist Church or Southeast Health Foundation Cancer Fund.
