FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Funeral for Willis Glenwood "Bill" Wright of Fredericktown was held June 11 at Follis and Sons Funeral Home. The Revs. Art Rehkop and Carl Hutcheson officiated. Burial was in Snowdenville Cemetery at Snowdenville, Mo.
Wright, 79, died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at his home.
He was born Aug. 13, 1921, at Snowdenville, son of David and Sarah Wright. He and Joyce Warren were married Dec. 7, 1974, at Fredericktown.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Terry Wright of Fayetteville, Ark.; five daughters, Ellie Minner of Sikeston, Jennie Goodman of Dixon, Mo., Sharon Allen of Fredericktown, Patricia Hall of Manchester, Mo., Lesia Leichner of Fayetteville; a stepdaughter, Jerri Pennie of Fayetteville; two stepsons, Bill Denton of Fayetteville, and Rick Wright of St. Louis.
Also surviving are two brothers, Leonard Wright of Fredericktown, Dale Wright of Jonesboro, Ark.; five sisters, Freda Long of St. Louis, Rachel Reagan and Nora Tinnin of Fredericktown, Nellie Knapp of state of California, Juanita Cannon of Cleveland, Tenn.; 26 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, three brothers, and two sisters.
