CHESTER, Ill. -- Norman "Bill" Rymer, 50, of Chester died Monday, July 10, 2000, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Ill.
He was born May 31, 1950, in Anna, Ill., son of Norman and Betty Batson Rymer. He and Theresa Erwin were married July 20, 1968, in Anna.
Rymer was a correctional officer at Menard Prison. He was a member of Eagles Aerie.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Chandra Eggers and Christa Rymer of Chester; a son, Billy Rymer of Chester; two sisters, Lois Prather of McClure, Ill., Jean Burns of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; and a grandson.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ill., from 5-9 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
