SIKESTON -- William A. "Bill" Richards, 89, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.
He was born Sept. 10, 1909, in Blytheville, Ark., son of Clarence Addison and Martha Ann Long Richards.
He married Beatrice Cooksey on May 15, 1962, in Sikeston. She survives.
He had been a truck driver many years. He was a 32nd-degree Mason and member of Masonic Lodge 201 in Centralia, Ill. He attended First United Methodist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Myzell of Blytheville.
He was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters, and a granddaughter.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel at Sikeston with the Rev. Rick Lasley, associate pastor of First Untied Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
