Funeral service for William Callahan "Bill" Jordan of Nashville, Tenn., will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Nashville. Msgr. George Rohling will officiate.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating. Military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 3838.
Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Jordan, 83, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1997, at his home.
He was born Feb. 11, 1914, in St. Louis, son of John and Mary Callahan Jordan. He married the former Katherine Braun.
Jordan had been an accountant, and was a member of St. Henry's Church. He was a captain in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cathy Banick of Atlanta, Ga.; and two grandchildren.
