Bill Jobe

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Fred William "Bill" Jobe, son of the late Fred William and Margery Ann White Jobe, was born June 18, 1968, in Chaffee and departed this life Monday, Nov. 4, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 51 years.

Bill was a former location manager for Ryder Trucking, a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and a resident of Chaffee.

On June 6, 1998, he was united in marriage to Linda Darlene Schwendemann in Portageville, Missouri. She survives of the home in Chaffee.

Besides his wife, other survivors include two sons, Andrew Jobe and Josh Schwendemann, both of Chaffee; daughter, Jessica Jobe of Chaffee; brother, Mike Jobe of Chaffee; sister, Gail Ing of Chaffee; and also by a host of many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Jobe, and sister, Suzanne Rinehart.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

A prayer service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating.
