Bill J. Hensley, 66, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, June 26, 1997, at his home.
He was the son of Eskew Benjiman and Jessie Pearl Burton Hensley.
Hensley was employed by American General Insurance Co. 29 years. He was an American Red Cross volunteer several years.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; a son, Charles Hensley of Metropolis, Ill.; a daughter, Deborah Burgess of St. Charles; two brothers, Paul Hensley of Olympia, Wash., Harold Hensley of Cahokia, Ill.; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Dr. Rick Dye officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
