Bill Blackwell Jr.

Bill G. Blackwell Jr., 56, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.

He was born Nov. 14, 1957, in Cape Girardeau to Billy G. and Beatrice L. Wallace Blackwell Sr.

He graduated from Cape Central High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University.

Bill had worked for Procter & Gamble Paper Products in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his mother, Beatrice L. Blackwell of Cape Girardeau; brother, Darrell (Carol) Blackwell of Marble Hill; and uncle, Bill Wallace of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel with the Bishop James Chesnick officiating.

Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
