Beverly Jo Rauh, 51, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 16, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Walter Lee "Ott" and Beulah Marie Haupt Crites. She and Robert Wiley Rauh were married April 1, 1977, in Kansas City, Mo. He died Sept. 15, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her father July 4, 1995...

Beverly Jo Rauh, 51, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 16, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Walter Lee "Ott" and Beulah Marie Haupt Crites. She and Robert Wiley Rauh were married April 1, 1977, in Kansas City, Mo. He died Sept. 15, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her father July 4, 1995.

Beverly was a 1973 graduate of Dexter High School. She and her family moved to Jackson in 1973. She worked at the former International Shoe Co. and 27 years at Lee Rowan Co. in Jackson. Beverly was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson since 1973, member of the Adult IV Sunday School Class, and assisted with the nursery and the costumes for the Easter pageant.

Loving survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Heidi and Matt McGill of Waikoloa, Hawaii; her mother, Beulah Crites of Jackson; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Brad and Alice Crites and Bruce and Teresa Crites, all of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Brent and Lisa Crites of Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Beth Ann and Todd Gohn of Waikoloa; three nephews; four nieces; and three great-nephews.

Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Carter Frey officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or to First Baptist Church of Jackson.
