Beverly Jeffries

FESTUS, Mo. — Beverly Jane Jeffries, 67, of Festus passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Feb. 28, 1955, in Sikeston, Missouri, the daughter of the late Leonard Eugene and Louella Adkins Jeffries.

Beverly was a huge St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed watching their games on television. She loved her nieces and nephews dearly and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her siblings, Leonard (Cindy) Jeffries Jr. of Festus, John (Melissa Zimpfer) Jeffries of Crystal City, Missouri, Melinda (Randy Elfrink) Young of Barnhart, Missouri, Melody (Larry) Nausley of Festus, Brenda (Victor Alba) Jeffries of Festus, Sherri (Stacey) Duckett of Montgomery City, Missouri, and Tracey (Wayne) DeBrock of Oran, Missouri; brother-in-law, Roy Ziegler of Benton, Missouri; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Jeffries, and sister, Lenora Ziegler.

Memorial visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Keith Perren. Interment will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Memorials in Beverly's name are preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
