WHITEWATER -- Beulah Stroder, 83, of Whitewater, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 1995, at the Lutheran Home. She was born June 29, 1912, near Advance, daughter of Henry and Pearl Lowe Kynion. She and Emery Stroder were married Oct. 25, 1930. Stroder had worked at Lowenbaum Dress Factory in Cape Girardeau. She was a charter member of Star Homemakers Club, former leader of Hickory Grove 4-H Club, and attended Lake Girardeau Assembly of God Church at Crump...

WHITEWATER -- Beulah Stroder, 83, of Whitewater, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 1995, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born June 29, 1912, near Advance, daughter of Henry and Pearl Lowe Kynion. She and Emery Stroder were married Oct. 25, 1930.

Stroder had worked at Lowenbaum Dress Factory in Cape Girardeau. She was a charter member of Star Homemakers Club, former leader of Hickory Grove 4-H Club, and attended Lake Girardeau Assembly of God Church at Crump.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Virginia Bohnsack of Chaffee, Wilma Craft of Dexter; five brothers, Lester Kynion of Granite City, Ill., Everett Kynion of Marine, Ill., Virgil Kynion of Charleston, Johnny Kynion of Lancaster, Ohio, Charles Kynion of Scott City; two sisters, Clara Kidd of Jackson, Alice Hopper of Scott City; eight grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and brother.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Herbert Bruhn and Charles Bowser officiating. Burial will be in Barks Chapel Cemetery at Crump.
