Beulah M. Williams, 77, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Aug. 21, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Oct. 7, 1917, at Crump, daughter of Lewis and Georgia Proffer Barks. She and Oliver Williams were married Feb. 20, 1934. He died June 22, 1990.
Williams moved to Cape Girardeau in 1970 from Crump. She worked in housekeeping at Southeast Hospital from 1970-78. She was a lifelong member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church and charter member of Star Homemakers Club, both at Crump.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Williams of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Melva Coomer of Scott City, Linda Williams of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Dorothy Williams and Naomi Thompson of Jackson; eight grandsons, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson and a brother.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
