Beulah Lee, 92, of Pine Bluff, Ark., died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
She was born Jan. 13, 1910, in Cherry Valley, Pa., daughter of Charles Wesley and Augusta Schiffer Starner. She and James P. Lee were married Jan. 1, 1933.
Lee moved to Cape Girardeau in 1948 from Houston, Texas, and to Pine Bluff in 1971.
While in Cape Girardeau she was co-owner of Cape Ace Hardware 20 years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, where she was outreach leader and a former member of Baptist Women's Association. She was a member of American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Wadlington of Pine Bluff; a son, James Lee III of Huntsville, Ala.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Robinson and Son Funeral Home in Pine Bluff from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Dr. J.R. DeBusk officiating. Graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Cape County Memorial Park, with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating.
