MARBLE HILL -- Beulah B. Lee, 92, of Marble Hill died Sunday, July 20, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 14, 1904, in Darden, Tenn., daughter of John R. and Suzanne Carrington Davis. She and George R. Lee were married Jan. 4, 1922, at Wardell. He died Dec. 20, 1980.
Lee was a member of New Sylvan General Baptist Church, Bollinger County Senior Citizens, and charter member of VFW Auxiliary Post 5900.
Survivors include four daughters, Lillie McCuen of Moorcroft, Wyo., Mary Thennes of Arnold, Christina Woodworth of Parkers Prairie, Minn., Mable Whitehead of Cottage Hills, Ill.; six sons, Harry and George Lee Jr. of Paragould, Ark., Alvis and Otis Lee of Marble Hill, Gary Lee of Adairville, Ga., and Eddie Lee of Chester, Ill.
Also surviving are three brothers, James Davis of Parsons, Tenn., Johnnie Davis of Tiptonville, Tenn., Alonzo Davis of East Prairie; two half sisters, Pam and Sandra Davis of Gerald; 41 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters and three sisters.
Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 4-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
