Beulah Irene Phillips, 86, of the Life Care Center Nursing Home in Jonesboro, Ill., died Saturday, May 22, 1993. She was born Feb. 1, 1907, at Delta, Ill., the daughter of James C. Phillips and Penina Hill Phillips. She is survived by a niece, Wanda Fiehler of Scott City, and two nephews, Stacy and John Gearing, both of Cape Girardeau...

She was born Feb. 1, 1907, at Delta, Ill., the daughter of James C. Phillips and Penina Hill Phillips.

She is survived by a niece, Wanda Fiehler of Scott City, and two nephews, Stacy and John Gearing, both of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by eight brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, with the Rev. John Gearing officiating. Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. at Ford and Sons on Sprigg Street. Burial will be at Phillips Cemetery near McClure.
