WILLIAMSVILLE, Mo. — Betty June Wages, 75, of Williamsville died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Wages was born Dec. 17, 1932, in Ste. Genevieve County, Mo., daughter of Russell A. and Mary E. (Hagan) Stokely. She and Marion E. Wages were married Sept. 25, 1958.
She was a member of Wappello Lion's Club and Wappello Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mary Gourley of Cahokia, Ill.; two sons, Jimmy Stokely of Florida and Thomas Wages of Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Norma Collins and Laura Jean Corse, both of Perryville, Mo.; a brother, Russell Stokely Jr.; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and three sisters.
Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev Bud Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Saline Baptist Cemetery in Minnith, Mo.
