SIKESTON -- Betty Sue Brown, 52, of Sikeston died Sunday, Oct. 20, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 19, 1939 at Helena, Ark., daughter of the late Louie Merrell Burton and Ruby Leo Edwards Burton, who survives of Sikeston.
She had been a resident of Sikeston since 1952. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Sikeston.
On Dec. 22, 1954, she married Billy F. Brown at Benton. He survives.
In addition, she is survived by three sons, Billy Gene Brown, Sikeston, William Franklin Brown, Dexter, Norman Eugene Brown, O'Fallon, Ill.; two daughters, Vickie Hammon, Sikeston, Brenda Sue Tyra, Sikeston; two brothers, Alfred M. Burton, Sikeston, John E. Burton, St. Louis; one sister, Linda King, Boston, Mass.; two half-brothers, Charles Lynn, Joplin, Paul David, Dexter; one half-sister, Nettie Jean Wallace, Cape Girardeau; and 10 grandchildren.
One brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Martin, pastor of Beulahland Fellowship Church of Blodgett, officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
