CAIRO -- Betty Shuemaker, 73, of Cairo died Friday, July 12, 1996, from injuries sustained in an automobile collision in Ballard County, Ky.
She was born Jan. 31, 1923, at Cairo, daughter of Mack and Elsie Rhymer Morse. She and Loarn L. Shuemaker were married.
Shuemaker was a member of the Tigert Memorial United Methodist Church. She and her husband owned the Morse Motel for many years.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Loarna Rae Key of Paducah, Ky.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Kelly Cox officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Villa Ridge, Ill.
