ADVANCE, Mo. -- Betty S. Schatte, 69, of Advance died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at her home.
She was born Dec. 29, 1934, in Biggers, Ark., daughter of Harry and Myrtie Yancy Kuykendall. She and Charles Schatte were married July 27, 1957, in Hernando, Miss. He died Nov. 14, 2002.
Schatte attended Zalma General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Randy Schatte of Bloomfield, Mo.; two daughters, Vicky Oller and Theresa Wilhite of Advance; five brothers, Tom Pemberton of Fort Mohave, Ariz., Shirrel Kuykendall of Bloomsdale, Mo., Russell Kuykendall of Florissant, Mo., Almus and Jay Kuykendall of Warsaw, Mo.; five sisters, Arvella King of Marysville, Ill., Wanda Salyer of Anniston, Mo., Shirley Cates of Charleston, Mo., Margie Coffer of East Prairie, Mo., and Linda Rogers of Independence, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Keith Price officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
