ANNA, Ill. -- Betty Mae McCann, 64, of Anna died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at her home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1936, at Alto Pass, Ill., daughter of Arthur and Ethel Mary Sims Linton. She and Lloyd McCann were married June 18, 1956, at Murphysboro, Ill. He died Jan. 29, 1997.
McCann was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Lloyd Eugene McCann of Anna; five daughters, Virginia Bellee of Wolf Lake, Ill., Marsha Pitts and Deborah Evans, both of Jonesboro, Ill., Betty Short of Anna, and Mary McDonald of Carbondale, Ill.; a sister, Barb Anderson of Kansas City, Kan.; and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a granddaughter.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hileman and Parr Funeral Services.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
