CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Lou Krieger will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Carl Richardson officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Krieger died Thursday at St. Francis Medical Center. She was 61.
She was born Aug. 18, 1929 in Wellston, the daughter of Fred and Wilma Huber Steger. On April 24, 1949, she married Robert Krieger in Cape Girardeau.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a former employee at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. She also worked five years as an office secretary at International Shoe and was a past secretary for Cape Transit.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Keith Krieger of Kansas City; two brothers, Lee Roy Steger and Leo Steger, both of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Mrs. Marian Furr of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard, in 1970.
Friends may visit from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
