Betty Johnson

GLEN ALLEN, Mo. -- Betty Lucille Johnson, 65, of Glen Allen died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 11, 1936, at Dudley, Mo., daughter of James Franklin and Minnie Bessie Thompson Johnson.

Johnson was a 1955 graduate of Lutesville High School. She had been a nurse's aide at the former Bond Nursing Center, and had worked on the family farm. She was a member of McGee Chapel Church.

Survivors include a sister, Oleta Vern Johnson of Glen Allen; and a brother, Joe Johnson of Marble Hill, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Clinton Massa officiating. Burial will be in Glen Allen Cemetery.
