Betty Jo Jackson, 82, of Scott City died Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 5, 1938, in Lepanto, Arkansas, to William and Avie Lee McFarlin Anders. She married Orley Elwood Jackson on Sept. 16, 1956. He preceded her in death June 29, 2019.
Betty was a seamstress at Ely Walker in Scott City and along with her husband was an owner/operator of Twin City Auto Sales and Towing. Betty was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Scott City.
She is survived by sons, Ricky Jackson of Patton, Missouri, and Carmon (Ashley) Jackson of Scott City; daughters, Cathy (Mike) Reagan of Patton and Carla (Rodney) Carlyle of Scott City; a brother, Dub Lambert of Rochelle, Illinois; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and her beloved puppy, Whiskey.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, a granddaughter, Kylie Mae Jackson; and a great grandchild, Caselyn Renee Reagan.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
