BETTY J. BEEGLE

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Betty J. Beegle, 63, of Mounds died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at her home.

She was born March 2, 1937, at Cairo, Ill.

She and Jim Beegle were married. He survives.

She was a member of Mounds Assembly of God Church.

Other survivors include three sons, Kevin E. Beegle of Mounds, Roger E. Beegle of Cobden, Ill., and Kenneth F. Beegle of Olive Branch, Ill.; two daughters, Seasida Jean Minor of Johnston City, Ill., and Ellen E. Stanley of Wolf Lake, Ill.; three stepsons, Keith Shreve of Olive Branch, Tim Shreve of Virginia and Jeff Shreve of Mounds; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ernest Browning officiating.

Burial will be in the U.S. National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill.
