COMMERCE, Mo. -- Betty Jane Gibbar, 69, of Commerce died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at her home.
She was born April 30, 1935, at Lilbourn, Mo., daughter of Albert and Gladys Jones Vincent. She and John "Mike" Gibbar were married Sept. 23, 1950, in Piggott, Ark.
Mrs. Gibbar was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Majiel Gibbar of Gallatin, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Leatha and Roger Morgan of Commerce; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Aliene and Ray Gibbar of Scott City, Lorena and Lyle Hunt of Carrollton, Texas; and two grandsons, Anthony and Edward Morgan.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with John Howells officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens at Morley, Mo.
