Betty J. Drace, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Sept. 15, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Les and Neldha Irene Sander Segraves. She and Dr. James A. Drace were married in 1948. He died April 28, 1975...

Betty J. Drace, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Sept. 15, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Les and Neldha Irene Sander Segraves. She and Dr. James A. Drace were married in 1948. He died April 28, 1975.

Mrs. Drace was a manager for 20 years at AAA Travel Agency, and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Rick Drace of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Judy Jacobs of Texas; and a grandson, Justin Drace of Texas.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Sanderson officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
