BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- Betty Luellen Cobb, 67, of Broken Arrow, formerly of Wagoner, Okla., died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.
Cobb was born April 7, 1941, in Wagoner, daughter of Floyd and Elizabeth Luellen. She and Donald Cobb were married Dec. 28, 1985, in Broken Arrow.
After graduation from Wagoner High School, she enrolled in the Cosmetology School at Muskogee, Okla. She later owned and operated her beauty salon in Glasgow, Mo. With this experience she became a representative for Redken Hair Products. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Broken Arrow. Betty received her associate degree in art at TCC in Tulsa.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Amy Kirchdoerfer of Cape Girardeau; four stepchildren, Matt Cobb of Bristol, Va., Ray Cobb of Broken Arrow, Skip Cobb of Wagoner, Cathy Turpin of Carney, Okla.; two sisters, Flora Hinkley of Springfield, Mo., Mattie Hathcoat of Tucson, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Broken Arrow.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner under the direction of Shipman Funeral Home and Crematory.
