Betty Sue Chitwood-Annis, 72, of Jackson died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 22, 1940, in Lilbourn, Mo., to Henry Otto and Rhoda Flannigan Roberts. Betty first married Vernon Chitwood, who died in February 1993. She then married Harold Annis Jan. 23, 2000, in Jackson.
Betty was a member of First General Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. She loved to play games with her family.
Survivors include a son, Russell (Vickie) Chitwood of Puxico, Mo.; a daughter, Pam (Wai) Chiu of Cape Girardeau; a stepdaughter, Donna (Jeff) Mangrum of Jackson; four brothers; three sisters; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, four brothers and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to time of service Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Ramdial officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
