URBANA, Ill. -- Betty Boatright, 66, of Urbana, formerly of Anna, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 1996, at Americana Nursing Home in Urbana. She was born March 20, 1930, in Harrisburg, daughter of Ellis and Ethel Riegel Glascock. She and Dr. Jean R. Boatright were married Jan. 19, 1952...

URBANA, Ill. -- Betty Boatright, 66, of Urbana, formerly of Anna, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 1996, at Americana Nursing Home in Urbana.

She was born March 20, 1930, in Harrisburg, daughter of Ellis and Ethel Riegel Glascock. She and Dr. Jean R. Boatright were married Jan. 19, 1952.

Boatright was a retired medical secretary. She was active in the American Alliance for the mentally ill and in Local Area Network for the mentally ill.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Thomas Boatright of Urbana, John Boatright of Anna; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5-7 p.m. today.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lindale Memorial Gardens in Eldorado, with the Rev. Dean Blackburn officiating.
