Betty Ann Borchers, 65, of Kennett, died Monday, Aug. 29, 1994. She was born Nov. 7, 1928, in Winchester, Ill., daughter of Jesse and Ollie Ball Saffer. She and George W. Borchers were married May 24, 1948. Borchers was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church...

Betty Ann Borchers, 65, of Kennett, died Monday, Aug. 29, 1994.

She was born Nov. 7, 1928, in Winchester, Ill., daughter of Jesse and Ollie Ball Saffer. She and George W. Borchers were married May 24, 1948.

Borchers was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Bill Borchers of Casa Grande, Ariz.; five daughters, Ruth Jackson of Anawak, Texas, Barbara Borchers of Houston, Texas, Mary Borchers of Brenhan, Texas, Patty Webb of Kennett, Katy Andersson of Cape Girardeau; her mother of Winchester; a brother, Jim Saffer of Fort Collins, Colo., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and sister.

Friends may call at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett after 6 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7:30.

Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Cecilia Church, with the Rev. Mark Binder officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
