Beth D. Brotherton, 38, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, July 29, 2011, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 14, 1973, in Dexter, Mo., to Emerson Lee and Joann Grantham Highfill.
She and Chad Brotherton were married Dec. 13, 2003, at Jackson.
Beth was a graduate of Perryville (Mo.) High School and was a student at the Southeast Missouri State University Nursing School.
She was a member of Crossroads Fellowship in Jackson.
Survivors include her mother, Joann Highfill of Cape Girardeau; her husband, Chad Brotherton of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Luke Brotherton of Cape Girardeau and Joshua Farrow of Troy, Mo.; two daughters, Lilly Brotherton of Cape Girardeau and Jodie Brotherton of Pullman, Wash.; two sisters, Cynthia (Kevin) Jones and Linda Smith of Cape Girardeau; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and one sister.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Crossroads Fellowship in Jackson, with the Rev. Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
