BLOOMFIELD -- Bessie Marcelle Nichols, 82, of Bloomfield died Wednesday, March 1, 2000, at Beverly Healthcare Center.
She was born Jan. 16, 1918, in Temple, Texas, daughter of Joe and Rose Mucha Chudej. She and Edgar Nichols were married June 22, 1951.
Formerly of Texas and Oklahoma, she had lived in Bloomfield the past few months. She was a graduate of Waxahachie Bible College.
Survivors include her husband; a son, John Nichols of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Priscilla Nichols of Bloomfield; a brother, Jerry Chudej of Waco, Texas; two sisters, Rosee Barbee and Emmalee Kayson of Waco; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cotus James officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
