BESSIE FLOWERS

SCOTT CITY -- Funeral for Bessie Jewell Flowers of Scott City will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Eisleben Lutheran Church. The Rev. Joel Sarrault will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5-8 p.m. today.

Flowers, 89, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 8, 1909, in Diswood, Ill., daughter of Minus and Hattie Armstrong Dunning. She and Albert Flowers were married Jan. 6, 1934, in San Francisco, Calif.

Flowers was a member of Eisleben Church.

Survivors include her husband.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, and a sister.
