ANNA, Ill. -- Bessie Cook, 90, of Anna died Friday, July 3, 1998, at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born Jan. 8, 1908, at Harrisburg, daughter of Joseph Franklin and Clara Henrietta Teike Minner. She and Ray C. Cook were married on Jan. 17, 1943. He died Dec. 19, 1982...

ANNA, Ill. -- Bessie Cook, 90, of Anna died Friday, July 3, 1998, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born Jan. 8, 1908, at Harrisburg, daughter of Joseph Franklin and Clara Henrietta Teike Minner. She and Ray C. Cook were married on Jan. 17, 1943. He died Dec. 19, 1982.

Prior to her retirement, she was associated with Hutson Furniture in Anna for 32 years.

She is survived by a sister, Myrtle Berry of Chester.

Friends may call at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard Sullins will officiate, with burial in the Anna Cemetery.
