WOLF LAKE, Ill. -- Funeral services for Bessie Ann "Becky" Copeland, of Wolf Lake, will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. John Cripps will officiate and burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery near McClure.

Mrs. Copeland died Friday, Oct. 21, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born at Greer, S.C., the daughter of Leroy L. and Lois Anthony Ginn.

On Dec. 24, 1949, she married Huey Copeland at Fort Jackson, S.C., and he died on Jan. 7, 1983.

Survivors include: one son, Michael Wayne Copeland of Springfield, Ill.; one daughter, Mary Anne Copeland of Wolf Lake; three brothers, Robert Ginn of Hesperia, Calif., Paul Ginn of Savannah, Ga., and Dan Ginn of Cherryville, S.C.; one half-sister, Roberta Filyew of Ormond Beach, Fla.; one stepbrother, Harry Ginn of Monroe, Ga.; and one grandson.

A son, Terry Copeland, preceded her in death on June 7, 1974.

She was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church and served as an adult Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Wolf Lake and Ware Home Association, and worked with various levee districts in Union County as secretary and bookkeeper.
