Bess Aleenia Goza

Bess Aleenia Goza, 94 years old, from Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at her residence at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born Aug. 22, 1919, in Bloomfield, Missouri, to Henry I. and Elvie Hobbs Goza.

Bess lived most of her adult life in Cape Girardeau, with her beloved sister Elva, and Elva's husband, Fred Englehardt.

Fred and Elva both preceded her in death.

Bess is survived by her niece, Hilda Lou Hobbs of St. Charles, Missouri, and many friends.

Graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Baker Cemetery in Marble Hill, Missouri.
