Beryl Roberts

Beryl "Tom" Thomas Roberts, 84, of Jackson died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri.

He was born Dec. 15, 1935, in Oak Ridge to B. Ephrum and Pearl Tracy Wills. He married Mary Sue Roberts. She preceded him in death Oc. 24, 2018.

He was a member of IBEW Local 1 in St. Louis for more than 50 years.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge in Cape Girardeau and past member of the Elks Club.

Survivors include his sons, John (Dawn) Roberts of Cape Girardeau and James "Jim" (Dawn) Roberts of Knoxville, Tennessee; sister, Patsy Huntsman; brothers, Bobbie Roberts of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, and Ben Howard of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren, Sara (David) Powell of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, and Kyle (Kaitlyn) Roberts of Jackson; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sisters, JoAnn Granger, Vivian Wills, Jean Brown, Janette Fuqua.

Due to the pandemic, a private memorial service was held for immediate family.

To pay respects, visit Tom at the cremation garden at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
