CHARLESTON -- Bertha Mae Williams, 65, of Paducah, Ky., died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1993, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
She was born June 27, 1928, at Henson, daughter of Jodie Verner and Drewcella Smith Clark.
Survivors include her husband, Julius; two sons, Julius Williams Jr. of Paducah, William Lee Jr. of Tustin, Calif.; three daughters, Rosemary Anderson of Anaheim, Calif., Brenda Williams of Paducah, Annette Williams of Charleston; her mother of Charleston; three sisters, Luvine Haynes and Lorine Clark of Charleston, Beatrice Nelson of Michigan City, Ind.; a foster sister, Margaret Nelson of Michigan City; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather, three brothers and a grandson.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wiley Reed officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Thursday from 11 a.m. to service time.
