BERTHA L. KROUSE

JACKSON -- Bertha L. Krouse, 99, of Jackson died Dec. 28, 1992, at the Jackson Manor in Jackson.

She was born Oct. 27, 1893, at Dogwood Ridge, Mo., to the late James and Cora Thetford Presson.

She married William W. Krouse on Dec. 21, 1913. He preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 1963.

She was a member of the Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, and was a Sunday school secretary for 35 years at the First Baptist Church in Chaffee.

She was secretary of the Dorcas Sunday school class of the Lynwood Baptist Church for 20 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Louise Chase of Cape Girardeau; and is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee with the Rev. Bill Ellis officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
