Bertha G. Hoeller, 86, 611 S. West End Boulevard, died Wednesday, June 5, 1996, at her home.
She was born Jan. 1, 1910, in Robinson, Miss., daughter of Joseph and Lottie Long Haslip. She and Russell Hoeller were married July 2, 1950, in Hernando, Miss. He died Sept. 29, 1970.
Hoeller had been a cook at Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Shoulders of Cape Girardeau, Joanne Nisbet of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Sam Haslip of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Helen Kesler of Arkansas; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, six brothers, four sisters and a great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. S.S. Borum officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
