HAYWOOD CITY -- Bertha Vaughn Foehand, 63, of Haywood City died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born March 31, 1936, in Richmond, Va., daughter of George and Ida Mae Vaughn Simpson. She had lived in Missouri for 20 years. She was a member of the New Morning Star Baptist Church in Haywood City and served on the usher board.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Foehand of Haywood City; two sons, Lawrence Vaughn of Haywood City and Lee Foehand of Sikeston; a special friend, Bill Jackson of Bell City; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at New Morning Star Baptist Church.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Alex Sims officiating. Burial will be in the Haywood City Cemetery.
