Bertha F. Roth, 95, formerly of Uniontown, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 15, 1900, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of the late Gottfried and Ida Landgraf Mueller. She married Gottfried C. Roth on Aug. 16, 1925. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1987.
She was a homemaker, member of Grace Lutheran Church and former member of Ladies Aid in Uniontown.
She is survived by one daughter, Mildred Pohlman of Jackson; two sons, Norman Roth of Uniontown and Raymond Roth of Old Appleton; one sister, Esther Doering of Wittenburg; one half sister, Frieda Loebs of Florissant; two half brothers, Herb Mueller of St. Louis, and Walter Mueller of Hoakland, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great step-grandchildren and five great-great step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Saturday at Young & Sons Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
