BERTHA BUERCK

PERRYVILLE -- Bertha M. Buerck, 91, of Perryville died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 18, 1908, at Biehle, daughter of Joe and Anna Meyer Baer. She and Rudolph J. Buerck were married Oct. 23, 1930.

Buerck was a daycare provider more than 30 years. She was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church at Brewer and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include seven sons, Glennon, Rudy and Roger Buerck of Perryville, Eugene and Jerome Buerck of Festus, Robert and Tom Buerck of Uniontown; three daughters, Bernetta Buchheit of Washington, Ind., Berdella Schnurbusch of St. Louis, Stella Prevallet of Perryville; 40 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, a sister, and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The parish wake will be Friday night.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the Savior Church. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate. Burial will be in St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery at Biehle.
